Where to eat at Red Shores Charlottetown

There are four places to eat at the track, and each one keeps its own clock. Pick a day and a time in the finder below, and it shows you which kitchens are open.

O'Brien's on the lower level

O'Brien's Social Bar & Kitchen is the casual bar and restaurant on the lower level. It carries the name of Joe O'Brien, a PEI resident and Hall of Fame horseman. From Sunday to Wednesday it is open 11 a.m. to 8 p.m. Thursday to Saturday it runs later, from 11 a.m. to 10 p.m. Holiday hours are worth checking on redshores.ca.

Reservations go through the phone only, at 902-620-4264. You cannot request a booking online, so call if you want a table held.

Red's and the 14-foot screen

Red's serves Italian-inspired comfort food in front of a 14-foot screen. From Sunday to Wednesday it opens at 4 p.m. and closes at 10 p.m. Thursday to Saturday the hours stretch from 11 a.m. to midnight.

Top of the Park, above the oval

Top of the Park is a three-tier dining room looking out over the historic track. It serves a Sunday brunch and a race-night buffet. Diners can bet on the horses right from their table. Its hours are not posted, so phone 902-620-4264 to ask when it is serving and to book a table. Race dates live on the racing pages of redshores.ca.

The Trackside Patio is outdoor dining right beside the racetrack. Its hours are not posted either. The same number can tell you whether it is serving on the evening you have in mind.
